Chinese fried rice is stir fried rice with lots of vegetables.Easy , delicious, healthy and quick recipe.Hot and Sour soup authentic Chinese soup perfect for winter season.Also easy to make home .
Ingredients For Chinese Fried Rice(Serving- two)
- For cooking rice
- Basmati rice – 1 cup
- Water – 5 cups
- Salt – 1/2 tea spoon
- Olive oil or cooking oil – 2-3 drops
- Other ingredients
- Garlic – 1 tsp, finely chopped
- Carrot – 2tsp, finely chopped
- Onion – 2 tsp, finely chopped
- Spring onion – 1 cup, finely chopped
- Scallion – 2 tsp, finely chopped
- Green chili – 1tsp, finely chopped
- French beans-1 tbsp, finely chopped
- Cabbage –1tbsp, Finely chopped
- Beet root-1 tsp, finely chopped
- Light Soy sauce – 2 tsp
- Dark soy sauce-1/2 tsp
- Tomato chili sauce – 1 tsp
- Black pepper powder – 1 tsp
- Rice vinegar – 1/2 tsp
- Capsicum red,yellow – 1 tbsp finely chopped
- Olive oil-2 tbsp
- For Hot and Sour Soup
- Garlic – 1/2 tsp finely chopped
- Carrot – 1 tsp finely chopped

- Spring onion – 1 tsp finely chopped
- Onion-1tsp finely chopped
- Scallion – 2 tsp finely chopped
- French beans-1 tsp finely chopped
- Cabbage –1tsp Finely chopped
- Beet root-1 tsp finely chopped
- Light Soy sauce – 2tsp
- Tomato chili sauce – 1 tsp
- Black pepper powder – 1 tsp
- Rice vinegar – 1/2 tsp
- Corn Starch-1 tbsp
- Olive oil-2 tsp
Method
Step 1 – Rinse rice 3-4 times and drain then keep aside for 45 minutes.
Step 2 – Heat pot and boil the water. Add rice in boiling water then salt and oil and cook until soft. Remove pot from fire and strain the rice. Cover it and keep aside.
Step3- Preparing Hot and Sour soup-Take corn flour in a bowl add 2 tbsp water mix it, keep aside.
Step4-Heat nonstick pan add 2 tsp olive oil add garlic saute it,add onion saute it add all vegetables saute it 1 minute in high flame add soy sauce,tomato chili sauce,corn paste mix it, add 2 cup water. boil it and switch off flame. Add vinegar and spring onion.Serve hot .
Step 5 – Preparing fried rice:
- Heat oil in non-stick pan
- Add garlic saute for 10-15 seconds
- Add scallion, onion, chili, carrot, cabbage, capsicum,french beans,beet root and saute on high flame continuously for 2 minutes. Add black pepper powder, soya sauce & tomato chill sauce.
- Add rice and toss again gently
- Add rice vinegar & spring onion and toss
Enjoy Chinese fried rice.
Note:
– All sauces contains salt so no need to add salt
– In high flame saute and toss all vegetables makes it crispy
