Almond Fudge(Badam Halwa)

Almond Fudge  is  nutritious, healthy, creamy, rich and amazing delicious  dessert. It is made with almond paste, milk and flavored with saffron, cardamom. Perfect for kids and breast feeding mother.

  Ingredients (For 2-3 serving)


  • Almond – 1 cup
  • Saffron – a few stands
  • Milk – 1 cup
  • Ghee – 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Sugar – 1/2 cup
  • Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp

Method


Step 1 – Wash and soak almond in hot water for 30-34 minutes . Peel the soaked almond after 40 minutes  and again keep fresh hot water for 2 hours so almond  will rise. After 2 hours take almond in grinder and just add milk , saffron grind it and make fine  paste then keep aside.

Step 2 – Heat nonstick pan then add ghee, almond and roast it in medium flame for 10 to 12 minutes. Add sugar stir continuously and roast the mixture more 10-15 minutes till   fragrance come out and mixture became dough like consistency. Add cardamom powder and mix well.

Serve hot or cold as per taste!!
