Marble Cake is a delicious cake; which is blending with light(vanilla) and dark batter(chocolate). Spongy and rich aroma, contrasting flavor, attractive, moist and fluffy.
- All purpose flour –2 cup
- Semolina- 1 tbsp
- Coco powder – 2 tbsp
- Baking powder – 1/2 tsp
- Salt – 1/4tsp(1 pinch)
- Yogurt – 2 tbsp
- Butter melted/olive oil – 1/2 cup
- Brown sugar powder – 1 cup
- Brown sugar powder – 2 tbsp
- Milk – 3 tbsp
- Milk powder – 2 tbsp
- Milk- 1 cup
- Baking soda- 1/2 tsp
- Vinegar- – 2tsp
- Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
Step1 – Preheat oven to 350F/180C for 10 minutes. Line cake tin with parchment paper and lightly grease.
Step2 – In bowl take butter, milk, yogurt, vanilla essence, 1 cup sugar and beat until it becomes fluffy.
Step 3 – Mix flour, semolina, baking powder, baking soda bowl, milk powder and sieve it 2-3 times for better aeration.
Step 4 -Add coca powder, 3 tbsp milk, 2 tbsp powder sugar and mix it then keep aside.
Step 5 – Add dry mixture into wet mixture and mix until just combined. Do not over mix. Add vinegar and mix again.
Step6 –Divide mixture into two parts. In one part add coca mixture,mix it do not over mix.
Step 7-In cake pan pour spoonfuls white batter then pour 1 spoonful coca batter over top of white batter. Fill all batter similar way. Use toothpick and swirl the cocoa batter into white batter to give marble design.
Step 8 – Bake in preheated oven for 30-40 minute until toothpick comes out clean.
Step 9 – Cool pan for 5 minutes,remove it to on wire rack and cool proper.
Note : Baking soda and vinegar act as leaving agent, gives soft texture.
