Mango Mastani(mango milkshake topped with ice cream and dry fruits)

Mango Mastani is a most popular summer  drink in Maharashtra, India .


Ingredients (serving-2)

  • Milk-3 cup
  • Mango-1 cup
  • Pistachio -2 tbsp finely chopped
  • Saffron-some strands
  • Cardamom powder-1 tsp
  • Sugar-2 tbsp as per taste
  • Cashew nut -1 tbsp finely chopped
  • Almond-1 tbsp finely chopped
  • Maraschino cherry-2
  • Ice cubes-4-6 pieces
  • Vanilla ice cream–2-3 scoop



Step1-Take milk in deep nonstick pan and bring to boil with alternate stirring.  add sugar and cook 10 minutes , till milk reduces half of its original quantity. Chilled  it and keep aside.

Step2-In blander take chopped mango, cashew nut, saffron, almond, milk, ice cubes bland it till mix  proper.

Step3- Take serving glasses and add 1 pinch cardamom powder, pour mango milkshake.Put two scoop vanilla ice cream, garnish with pistachio and maraschino cherry . Serve chilled!!!

  3. Is this very different from mango lassi? I like to drink it, but do not know how to make it, so am not sure if the ingredients are similar.
