Delicious Seven Oats recipes

Oats are a nutrient-rich,  gluten free, cereal grain. The established property of their cholesterol lowering effects has led to acceptance of oats as a health food. Oats can be prepared so many different ways.Oatmeal, porridge, pancake, bread,muffins can make with oats.

1-Spicy yogurt oats pancake

Ingredients(4 Servings)


  • Oats – 1 cup
  • Yogurt-3 tbsp
  • Green chili-1  chopped
  • cumin powder-1/2 tsp
  • White pepper powder-1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder-1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder-pinch
  • Red chili powder-1/2 tsp
  • Salt-1/2 tsp to taste
  • Coriander leaves-2 tsp finely chopped
  • Cooking/Olive oil – 1 tbsp

Method


Step 1 –Dry roast oats in pan for 2-3 minutes in low flame till little crunchy.

Step2-In grinder take roasted oats and make fine powder.

Step 3 – Add all spices,yogurt,salt and 3 tbsp water in blander and bland it again so all spices mix well.
Step 4 – Heat nonstick pan spray little oil , pour batter with help of round serving  spoon. Cook it for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.
Step 5 –Then flip it gently  let it cook for 4-5 minute on medium flame other side.
Step 6 –Enjoy spicy yogurt oats pancake anytime with any sauce.

2-Banana-chocolate oats bread

Banana chocolate oat bread is a type of quick bread made from mashed bananas. It is moist, soft  bread . It is kids friendly and also perfect with tea/coffee.

Ingredients


  • Oats – 1.5cup
  • Chocolate powder-2 tbsp
  •  Baking powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt – 1/4tsp/1 pinch
  • Bananas-4 small
  • Olive oil – 3 tbsp
  • Powder sugar – 2 -3 tbsp
  • Milk(warm)- 1/2 cup
  • Baking soda- 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp
  • Vanilla essence – 1 tsp

Method


Step 1 – Preheat oven to 350F/180C for 10 minutes. Line  loaf pan with parchment paper and lightly grease.

Step 2 –Dry roast oats in pan for 2-3 minutes in low flame till little crunchy.

Step3-In grinder take roasted oats and make fine powder.

Step 4 – In bowl take  mashed banana, olive oil,  sugar, lemon juice, mix well till fluffy.Add vanilla essence and keep aside.

Step 5 – Mix flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder,chocolate powder in a separate bowl.

Step 6 – Add dry mixture into wet mixture and mix until just combined ,  add little milk and mix ( do not over mix batter).

Step 7 – Pour mixture into a greased bread loaf pan.

Step 8 – Bake it for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Step 9 – Cool pan for 15 minutes, remove it, keep on wire rack  and cool proper, slice it and Enjoy !!!!

 

3-Oats potato pancake

Ingredients(4 Servings)


  • Oats – 1 cup
  • Potato -1 cup grated
  • Cumin powder-1/2 tsp
  • White pepper powder-1/2 tsp
  • Garlic-1/2 tsp chopped
  • Salt-1/2 tsp to taste
  • Cooking/Olive oil – 1 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves-1 tsp for garnishing

Method


Step 1 –Dry roast oats in pan for 2-3 minutes in low flame till little crunchy.

Step2-In grinder take roasted oats and make fine powder, keep aside.Peel potato and grate it, keep grated potato in water.

Step 3 – Take oats flour, all spices,grated potato(squeeze all water from potato) ,salt and mix well.
Step 4 – Heat nonstick pan spray little oil , pour batter with help of round serving  spoon. Cook it for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.
Step 5 –Then flip it gently  let it cook for 4-5 minute on medium flame other side.
Step 6 –Enjoy oats potato pancake anytime with apple sauce/blueberry sauce sauce.

 

4-Oats Patties

Ingredients(Serving-6)

  • Oats-1/2 cup
  • Coriander leaves-1/2 cup
  • Broccoli-1/2 cup,grated
  • Garlic-2-4 cloves
  • Salt-1/2 tsp
  • Green chili-2 chopped
  • Pomegranate powder-1tsp
  • Black paper -1/2 tsp(crushed)
  • Cumin powder-1/2 tsp
  • Olive oil-1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice-1 tsp
  • Cashewnuts-6-8 pieces,optional

Method-

Step 1 –Take coriander leaves, grated broccoli,garlic all spices and make  paste (without water) .Add lemon juice keep aside.

Step 2 –Dry roast oats in pan for 2-3 minutes in low flame till little crunchy.

Step3-In grinder take roasted oats and make fine powder.

Step 4 –In green paste add flour  mix well and cover it for 10 minutes so ball will make perfect round and give perfect texture.After 10 minutes make lemon size ball from it ,keep aside.Roll all ball in oats flour ,(place 1 cashew nut )and flatten it little.

Step5-Spray little oil in a pan,place patties  and cook in low medium flame for 10-12 minutes till golden brown in all sides.

Enjoy Oats green patties with any sauce and salad   !!!!

5- Oats  herbs loaded mini bread

Ingredients


  • Oats flour –1.5cup
  • Yeast – 1 tsp (instant)
  • Salt – 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar – 1/2 tsp
  • Milk and olive oil – for brushing
  • Olive oil- 2tbsp
  • Garlic salt-1/2 tsp
  • Dried oregano seasoning Italian herbs – 1 to 2 tsp
  • Chili flakes – 1/2 tsp
  •  Dried basil – 1 to 2 tsp
  • Corn meal – 2 tbsp
    •  

Method


Step 1 – In a bowl take  warm water, sugar and  mix it then keep aside 5 minutes.

Step 2 – Take flour in one bowl add salt, milk powder and yeast mixture then mix it and knead for 5 minutes. Add olive oil and kneed for 10 minutes, cover dough and keep aside for 1 hour.

Step 3 – After 1 hour open dough will be rise and double-triple in size, punch it and kneed 2-3 minutes, cut it and make small ball.

Step 4 – Place ball  into a greased  bread loaf pan/muffin tray. Cover loaf pan and keep aside for 1 hour.

Step 5 – Preheat oven to 350f/180c for 10 minutes.  Bake it for 15 minutes .

Step 6 – After 1 hour ball become double in size gentle apply milk and olive oil on ball properly . Place pan on preheat oven to 180 for 15 minutes.

Step 7 – After 15 min take out pan and cool pan for 10 minutes, remove buns  on wire rack and cool properly.

Enjoy Oats Buns at home.

 

6-Oats garlic bread

Garlic bread is a bread topped with garlic, olive oil and herbs baked and sliced. It is too delicious .

Ingredients


  • Oats flour –1.5cup
  • Yeast – 1 tsp (instant)
  • Salt – 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar – 1/2 tsp
  • Milk and olive oil – for brushing
  • Olive oil- 2tbsp
  • Garlic salt-1/2 tsp
  • Dried oregano seasoning – 1 to 2 tsp
  • Chili flakes – 1/2 tsp
  •  Dried basil – 1 to 2 tsp
  • Corn meal – 2 tbsp

Method


    •

      Step 2– Take oats flour in one bowl add salt,  and yeast mixture then mix it and knead for 5 minutes then add olive oil and kneed 10 minutes. Cover dough and keep aside for 1 hour.

      Step 3 –After 1 hour open dough will be raised and double-triple in size. Punch it and add oregano, basil, garlic salt, olive oil and mix it then knead for 5-8 minutes. Cover dough proper and keep  for minimum 1 hours.

      Step 4 – Take dough and cut in to two small parts.

      Step 5 – Preheat oven to 350f/180c for 10 minutes.  Line baking tray with parchment paper and lightly grease keep aside

      Step 6 -Sprinkle corn flour on rolling board keep one dough roll it round sprinkle some oregano, basil and flip one side to make semi circle, press it proper and place it on baking tray. Cut into stripes,brush with milk and olive oil sprinkle some oregano, basil, chill flakes,garlic salt on upside  place on preheat oven to 180 for 2o-30 minutes.

      Step 7 – After 20-30 min take out baking tray .

      Enjoy delicious  oats garlic bread!!!!

  • Olive oil – 2tbsp
  • Milk powder – 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Milk and olive oil for brushing

Method

Step 2 – Take flour in one bowl add salt, milk powder and yeast mixture then mix it and knead for 5 minutes. Add olive oil and kneed for 10 minutes, cover dough and keep aside for 1 hour.

    Your banana chocolate brownies look delicious. My daughter-in-law used avocado in brownies and chocolate cupcakes. This makes a thick and smooth cupcake with no “after taste” of bananas. (Some love chocolate covered bananas, not so much me.) 😋

    I love oats and they are wonderful recipes. A hospital pharmacist that I worked with once told me to take a bowl of oatmeal with medication (and water). There is something about the glutinous texture of oatmeal that helps your digestive system deal with the medication.
