Breadsticks are generally pencil- sized crisp bread served as appetizer.
Ingredients
- All purpose flour –1.5cup
- Semolina-1 tbsp
- Yeast – 1 tsp (instant)
- Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Sugar – 1/2 tsp
- Garlic paste-1 tsp
- Olive oil- 2tbsp
- Dried oregano seasoning – 1 to 2 tsp
- Garlic powder – 1/2 tsp
- Fresh rosemary
- Dried basil – 1 to 2 tsp
- Corn meal – 2 tbsp
Method
Step 1– In bowl take warm water, sugar, yeast mix it and keep aside 5 minutes.
Step 2– Take flour,semolina in one bowl add salt, and yeast mixture then mix it and knead for 5 minutes then add olive oil and kneed 10 minutes. Cover dough and keep aside for 1 hour.
Step 3 –After 1 hour open dough it will be raised and double-triple in size. Punch it, use corn meal and roll the dough into a rectangle shape. Cut the dough with knife /pizza cutter into a strips.
Step 4 – Preheat oven to 350f/180c for 10 minutes. Line baking tray with parchment paper and lightly grease keep aside
Step 5 – Place each strips on baking tray, drizzle little olive oil on stripes, sprinkle some oregano, basil,chill flakes, black paper, rosemary on upside. Place baking tray on preheat oven to 180 for 20 minutes. Cook till it becomes golden brown
After 20 min take out baking tray. Enjoy delicious Breadsticks at home with any dip.

There is no direct substitute for semolina in this recipe but you can still make this without semolina. Taste will still be great…..Thanks 🙏
