Top three easy and healthy recipe of Ripe Papaya

Papaya is good for heart, eyes, digestion, hairs. Due to rich antioxidants property help in improve immunity. A ripe papaya is usually eaten raw without skin  or seeds. Papaya taste is good with strawberry/mango/orange/lemon/yogurt/almond milk. Here is some easy and healthy recipe for everyday .

Papaya jam-

Papaya jam  is   made of fresh ripe papaya. It is sweet-tangy, delicious, healthy. Homemade papaya jam  is very easy to make without any color/preservatives/pectin. Sweet level can be chosen  according to taste. Jam is perfect combination for any bread, roti and sandwich cookies/tart.

  Ingredients-


  • Ripe papaya – 2 cup
  • Sugar –4 tbsp (as per taste)
  • Lemon juice – 2 tsp
  • Cinnamon powder –  1/2 tsp

Method


Step 1 – Wash, peel and chop papaya and keep aside. Sterilize bottle with boiling water and dry it properly then keep aside.

Step 2 -Take chopped papaya in blander make smooth puree.

Step 3 -Take one saucepan and add papaya puree, lemon juice then mix it and cook it for 2 to 3 minutes in medium flame. Add sugar and cook it for another 15-18 minutes with stirring. Add cinnamon powder and cook 2-3 more minutes. Check 1 tsp  cooked  mixture in one clean  plate and keep it there for 10 seconds then divide syrup with finger, if it gets separated properly that means that it is cooked properly. Remove from heat and let it cool completely.

Step 4 – Pour papaya jam in sterilized bottle. Store in a cool, dark place/refrigerator.


 

Papaya strawberry smoothie-

 Smoothies is a thick beverage made from blended raw fruit with ice/milk/yogurt/fruit juice/ and sweeteners. Papaya goes good with strawberry /mango/lemon juice/orange.

  3. You have given meaning to the back yard tree and its fruit in almost every house. One more information abt the papaya tree the extract of papaya leaves is a proven medicine for low platelets count. Those whose platelets level are below is adviced to consume 2 tbsp of papaya leaf extract juice on a daily basis for a month and asked to check their platelets level to see it has increased.

      1. Ya, I knw! I myself got this information from somebody who practiced it and prescribed after a bout of chickanguniya ans had low platelets. The doc adviced this.
