Bread Semolina Toast(Quick breakfast)

Bread semolina toast is perfect for lunch box/breakfast/snacks.Crispy bread semolina toast made with bread and yogurt semolina batter.

Ingredients(Serving-4)


  • Semolina/Rava – 1 cup
  • Yogurt-1/2 cup
  • Salt-1/2 tsp
  • Brown/white bread-4 slice
  • Onion-2 tbsp finely chopped
  • Green chili-1 tbsp  chopped
  • Coriander leaves-2 tsp finely chopped
  • Carrot-1 tbsp finely chopped
  • Cooking/Olive oil – 1 tbsp

Method


Step 1 – In a bowl take semolina,salt,yogurt mix well and cover it,keep aside for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes add onion,green chili,coriander leaves and mix well  if need add 2 tbsp water .

Step2-Take bread slice cut into any shape (I  use heart shape cutter),keep aside.

Step3-Heat nonstick pan and add 1 tsp cooking oil.

Step4-Deep bread slice in semolina batter and place in hot pan. Cover it and cook in medium flame for 3-5 minutes turn it and cook another side till golden crispy.  Serve with Almond chutney/any sauce.
