A Bread pocket is a popular sandwich made from bread slice and various stuffing. It is perfect for morning breakfast and also good for kids lunch box.
Ingredients(serving-4)
- Bread- 4 slices
- Paneer (grated)-3 tbsp
- Green chutney-1 tbsp
- Black pepper powder – 1tsp
- Salt- 1/2 tsp( as per taste)
- Cooking oil (olive oil)-2 tbsp
- Onion-1 cut in to stripes
- Yellow,red bell paper – cut into julienne
- Carrot-cut in to julienne
- Tomato sauce-1 tbsp
- Coriander leaves-1 tbsp finely chopped
- Sesame seed-1 tsp
Method
Step 1 –In a nonstick pan heat 1 tbsp olive oil add,bell pepper and stir fry it 30 seconds in high flame,add,tomato sauce,green chutney. grated paneer,carrot,onion,salt,chopped coriander leaves and just mix it cook 30 seconds and remove from heat.Cool it,for 10 minutes.
Step2-Take bread slice and cut and remove brown partof all sides.Take slice roll it with the help of rolling pin make it thin ,keep aside.
Step3-Put 1 tbsp stuffing on middle of bread slice and close it with apply little water.Also close both corner give pocket shape keep aside.
Step4-Preheat the nonstick grill pan, drizzle little olive oil on grill pan.Sprinkle some sesame seed.place pocked and grill it till golden grilled marks appear in both side. Serve hot and enjoy it !!!!
