Rotizza

Rotizza is an innovative and quick form of pizza cooked in hot griddle.It is first choice of kids and mom.

Ingredients(serving-2)


 

  • Whole wheat flour-1cup,and some more flour for dusting
  • Semolina-1 tbsp fine
  • Salt – 1/2 tsp
  • Water – 1/2 cup

Pizza Sauce-

  • Tomato-2 cup chopped
  • Onion- 2 tbsp finely chopped
  • Garlic-3 cloves
  • Red whole chili-1-2
  • Oregano-1 tsp
  • Black paper-1/2 tsp
  • Salt-1/2 tsp
  • Suger-1 tsp
  • basil-2-3 leaves
  • Mix Italian seasoing-1 tsp

Topping-

  • Oregano-1 tsp
  • Red chili flakes-1 tsp
  • Cherry tomato-2-3 halved lengthwise
  • Red,yellow,green bell paper-1/2 cup
  • Trio cheese-1/2 cup
  • Black paper  crushed – 1 tsp
  • Fresh basil leave

Method


Step 1 – In a bowl take flour ,semolina,salt, mix it, add water and make semi soft dough,cover dough and keep aside for 10 minutes.

Step2-Pizza sauce-Take all ingredients in microwave safe bowl and cook 5-7 minutes,cool it and grind it well.Take grind paste in again microwave safe bowl and cook 2-3 minutes, so sauce will became little dry  and it will give perfect texture to pizza.

Step 3 – from dough take lemon size ball and roll it with the help of rolling pin give round shape( I give it heart shape).

Step4-Heat nonstick griddle on medium heat.Place roti  on griddle cook 1 minutes and turn it.Top of roti (cooked side) ,apply pizza sauce in circular motion all over ,put bell pepper,cherry tomato,put trio cheese sprinkle ,pizza seasoning,black paper and cook3-5 minutes till cheese melt (medium flame).

Serve hot,super delicious Rotizza any time.
