Hot,crispy,thin,garlicky,golden brown, breadsticks are utterly addictive.
- All purpose flour – 1cup
- Yeast – 1 tsp (instant)
- Semolina – 2 tbsp( optional)
- Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Sugar – 1/2 tsp
- Olive oil – 3 tbsp
- Dried oregano seasoning – 1 to 2 tsp
- Garlic –3-4 cloves(crushed)
- Garlic salt-1 -2 tsp
- Dried basil – 1 to 2 tsp
- Red chili flakes-1Tsp
Step 1– In bowl take warm water, sugar yeast and mix then keep aside for 5 minutes.
Step 2– Take flour in one bowl add salt,semolina and yeast mixture then mix it and knead for 5 minutes then add olive oil, crushed garlic , oregano, basil, and kneed for 10 minutes. Cover dough and keep aside for 1 hour.
Step 3 –After 1 hour open dough it will be raised and double-triple in size. Punch it, roll the dough into big square,cut square in two two parts .Take one part and sprinkle some chili flakes,garlic salt ,Italian seasoning.cover with second part.Cut in to strips and twist each strip and keep in baking tray and cover it for 45 minutes.
Step 4 – Preheat oven to 350f/180c for 10 minutes. .Once oven has preheated place baking tray and bake for20 minutes. Take out breadsticks from oven serve hot.
