Garlic bread is a bread topped with garlic, olive oil and herbs baked and sliced. It is too delicious .
- Bread flour –1.5cup
- Semolina-1/2 cup
- Yeast – 1 tsp (instant)
- Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Sugar – 1/2 tsp
- Milk and olive oil – for brushing
- Garlic paste-1 tsp
- Olive oil- 2tbsp
- Garlic salt-1/2 tsp
- Dried oregano seasoning – 1 to 2 tsp
- Garlic powder – 1/2 tsp
- Chili flakes – 1/2 tsp
- Dried basil – 1 to 2 tsp
- Corn meal – 2 tbsp
Step 1– In bowl take warm water, sugar, yeast mix it and keep aside 5 minutes.
Step 2– Take flour in one bowl add salt, and yeast mixture then mix it and knead for 5 minutes then add olive oil and kneed 10 minutes. Cover dough and keep aside for 1 hour.
Step 3 –After 1 hour open dough will be raised and double-triple in size. Punch it and add oregano, basil, garlic powder, garlic paste, olive oil and mix it then knead for 5-8 minutes. Cover dough proper and keep for minimum 1 hours.
Step 4 – Take dough and cut in to two parts.
Step 5 – Preheat oven to 350f/180c for 10 minutes. Line baking tray with parchment paper and lightly grease keep aside
Step 6 -Sprinkle corn flour on rolling board keep one dough roll it round sprinkle some oregano, basil and flip one side to make semi circle, press it proper and place it on baking tray. Cut into stripes,brush with milk and olive oil sprinkle some oregano, basil, chill flakes,garlic salt on upside place on preheat oven to 180 for 2o-30 minutes.
Step 7 – After 20-30 min take out baking tray .
