Italian Focaccia Croissant Rolls is very soft olive oil bread. Rosemary is main herbs in Focaccia Croissant.It is very easy to make at home. Focaccia Croissant Rolls is perfect for table bread, appetizer, snack.
- Multi grain flour – 1.5cup
- Yeast – 1 tsp (instant)
- Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Sugar – 1 tsp
- Semolina – 1.5 tbsp
- Garlic powder-1 tsp
- Mix Italian herbs( dry rosemary,thyme,basil,oregano) – 2 tbsp
- Red chili flakes-1 tsp
- Fresh rosemary-2 tbsp
- Black paper crushed – 1 tsp
Step 1 – In bowl take lukewarm water, sugar, yeast and mix then keep aside for 5 minutes.
Step 2– Take flour in one bowl. Add semolina, salt, and yeast mixture, mix it and knead for 5 minutes then add olive oil,garlic powder, dry rosemary,mix Italian herbs and kneed 10 minutes. Cover dough and keep aside for 1 hour.
Step 3 –After 1 hour when you open dough it will be almost double/triple in size. Punch it, knead for 5-8 minute. Divide dough in to two part and take one part of dough .Place dough on floured surface and roll in to circle about 1/4 inch thick. cut in to 6 triangle pieces.take one triangle piece and roll it ,place on baking tray. make all croissant similar way. Once done brush with olive oil and fresh rosemary,sprinkle some chili flakes and garlic powder. Cover it for 45 minutes.
Step 4 – Preheat oven to 350f/180c for 10 minutes.
Step 5 – After 45 minutes place in preheat oven 180c for 20-25 minutes till upper surface and all sides becomes brown. Take out Focaccia Croissant Rolls from baking tin and serve hot.
