Sesame Paneer is crispy ,soft,creamy,healthy delicious snack.Cottage cheese(Paneer) marinated with cashew nut paste and coated with roasted sesame seed and grilled.Easy and perfect recipe for appetizer/starter/snack.
Ingredients
- Paneer – 250 grams (homemade)
- Hung curd-3 tbsp(homemade)
- Green chutney-1 tbsp
- Cashew nut paste-2 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
- Coriander powder-1/2 tsp
- Cardamom powder-1/2 tsp
- White pepper powder –1/2 tsp
- Salt- 1/2 tsp( as per taste)
- Cooking oil -2 tbsp
- Sesame seed-3-4 tbsp
Method
Step 1 –Cut paneer in to large rectangle piece ,keep aside.
step 2-Dry roast sesame seed till fragrant,cool it,crush the seed with the help of mortar pestle.
Step 3 –In bowl take ,all spices,1 tbsp crushed sesame seed ,ginger garlic paste,green chutney,cashew nut paste, hung curd,cardamom powder, mix well.Add paneer ,mix gently,cover it ,keep in fridge for 20-30 minutes .
Step 4– Heat 1 tsp oil in a nonstick pan.string the marinated cottage cheese rectangle onto sticks and roll in sesame seed, place them in the pan. gentle cook 1-2 minutes.Turn it other sides cook 2-3 minutes till all sides golden brown.
Serve hot as a starter/appetizer/snack with green chutney/tomato sauce.
