Sprouts are super food due to its high nutritional value and health benefit. Homemade sprouts are healthy,fresh, and also it can make with own choice.
- For Sprouts(2serving)
- Green mung beans-1/2 cup
- Chickpeas-3 tbsp
- Whole peanut -3 tbsp
- Sesame seed-1 tsp
- Pomegranate seed-3 tbsp
- Coriander leaves-1 tbsp
- Green chili-1 tbsp finely chopped
- Salt- to taste
- Cooking oil(olive oil)-1 tbsp
- Onion-3-4 thin slice
- Lemon juice-1 tsp (optional)
Step 1 – Wash and soak mung beans, almond,peanut,chickpeas for 8-10 hours(overnight) in sufficient water in separate bowl.
Step 2 – After 8 hour wash mung beans,almond,peanut,chickpeas with fresh water . Strain all the water.Mix it all into large bowl and cover with lid keep aside for 6-8 hours till beautiful sprouts come from the beans,chickpeas,almond,peanut.
Step 3 – Heat a pan add sesame seed roast it 1 minute keep aside,add1 tbsp oil in pan add green chili cook 30 seconds add mixed sprouts and cook in medium flame for 4-5 minutes till soft.Remove from heat ,add sesame seed, coriander leaves,lemon juice,onion,pomegranate seed,mix it proper serve as breakfast/salad/side dish.
