Parwal sweet is unique, delicious sweets originated from North India.Parwal stuffed with roasted mawa and flavored with cardamom powder.
- desiccated coconut-2 tbsp
- Sugar – 2 tbsp( powder)
- Sugar-3 tbsp
- Mawa – 1/2 cup(Homemade)
- Cashew powder-1 tbsp
- Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
- Pistachio – 2 tbsp finely chopped
- Ghee -1 tsp
Step 1 – Wash parwal and peel it.cut the center part and remove all seeds ,keep aside.
step2-Take sauce pan add 2 -3 cup water and boil it,place parwal on boiling water and cook 3-5 minutes ,remove from water and keep in strainer.
step3- In sauce pan take 1 cup water and 3 tbsp sugar boil it,place parwal on it cook 5-6 min in low flame till parwal gives nice green color.Remove from heat and cover it,leave for 1-2 hours.
step4-Heat non-stick pan then add ghee, mawa, grated coconut, cook for 3-5minutes till mixture pink in color. add,cashew nut powder, powder sugar,pistachio,cardamom powder and cook 2-3 minutes.Remove from heat and cool it.
Step 5 – Remove parwal from syrup and keep in strainer for 10 minutes ,so it will became little dry(excess syrup drip from the parwal).
Step 6 –Take little stuffing and stuff into the parwal.Make all similar way.Ready for serve.It can store in refrigerator for one week.
