Mini Dry Samosa is perfect crispy, spicy, tangy tea time snack.It can store for 10-15days in air tight container/or just stuffing prepared in advance and keep in refrigerator and make kachori instant .Also Mini Dry Samosa is perfect for as a traveling snacks.
Ingredients (For 15 pieces)
- All purpose flour – 1cup
- Semolina – 1tsp
- Carom seed-1/2 tsp
- Baking soda-1/2 tsp
- Water – 1/2 cup
- Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Roasted Peanut-1/2 cup
- Roasted Chana daal -2 tbsp
- Desiccated coconut-2 tbsp
- Cumin seed – 1tsp
- Sesame seed-1 tbsp
- Funnel seed powder – 1 tsp
- Red chili powder-1tsp
- Date tamarind chutney-2 tsp
- Coriander powder-1 tsp
- Cooking oil – For deep frying
Step 1-Take all purpose flour, semolina,carom seed,baking soda in a bowl. Add 2 tbsp oil, salt and mix it proper then make semi stiff dough with the help of water. Cover it with damp cloth and keep aside for 30 minutes.
Step2-Heat 1 tbsp oil in pan,add roasted peanut,chana daal saute it till fragrant remove it and make coarse powder with mortar pestle keep aside.
Step 3-In same pan add desiccated coconut,sesame sees saute it1-2 minutes till fragrant add all spices and mix it add ,peanut coarse powder,raisin and mix well add date tamarind chutney mix it cook 1 minute and remove from heat,cool it.
Step 4 – Take small boll from dough and make small poori but little bit oval shape with the help of rolling board and pin. cut the puri horizontally in equal part.
step5-Take one part and joint theedges and make like cone.put 1 tsp stuffing inside cone,apply little water onedges and give one fold on back side so easily samosa sit on plate,seal proper edges.
Step 6 – Heat oil for frying on medium hot oil and placesamosa on pan and cook in low medium flame till they turngolden crispy.
Step 7 – Take out samosa drain on an tissue paper. Serve with tamarind chutney.It can store in airtight container for 7-10.
