Red Grape Jam

Grape Jam  is   made of fresh grapes. Red grapes contain rich antioxidants. It is delicious jam and first choice of every kid. Homemade jam  is very easy to make  without any color/preservatives/pectin. Sweet level can be choose  according to taste. Jam is perfect combination for any bread, roti and sandwich cookies.

  Ingredients


  • Red Grapes – 3 cup
  • Sugar – 1/2 cup
  • Lemon juice – 1 to 2 tsp

Method


Step 1 – Wash and chopped grapes,remove seeds keep aside. Sterilize bottle with boiling water and dry it proper keep aside.

Step 2 -Take one saucepan and add grapes ,lemon juice then mix it and cook it for 2 to 3 minutes in medium flame. Add sugar and cook it for 15-18 minutes with stirring,help of potato masher mash up the grapes. Check 1 tsp  cooked  mixture in one clean  plate and keep it there for 10 seconds then divide syrup with finger, if it gets separated properly, it means that it’s cooked properly. Once cooked remove it from flame and let it cool for 5 to 7 minutes.

Step 3 – Pour jam in sterilized bottle and store it.
