Tomato Soup

Soup is a primarily liquid food.Soup are served before meal to improve digestion.Tomato soup is very healthy,testiest, made with fresh tomatoes and served with bread croutons.Tomato soup is popular in Indian restaurants.

  Ingredients (For 2 servings)

  • Tomatoes-5 cup chopped
  • Carrot-1/2 cup
  • Whole black paper-1 tbsp
  • Whole cumin seed-1tbsp
  • Garlic clove-4-5 chopped
  • Salt-1 tsp,to taste
  • Sugar-1 tsp,optional
  • Corn starch-1 tbsp
  • Olive oil-1 tbsp
  • Bread croutons/Bread
  • Fresh cream-optional



Step 1–Add oil in dip nonstick pan,add chopped garlic ,whole cumin seed ,whole black paper cook just 20 seconds,add chopped carrot cook 2-3 minutes .add chopped tomatoes cook 4-5 minutes,add sugar,salt,and 2-3 cup water mix it , cook 8-10 minutes remove from heat and cool it for 20 minutes.Take corn starch in a bowl add 3 tbsp water mix it well keep aside.

Step2-In grinder take cooled tomato mixture and grind  well.With the help of strainer strain it and collect puree.

Step3-In same pan add tomato puree boil it for 4-5 minutes.Add corn starch(minimum heat) with continuous stirring cook more 3-4 minutes till soup get perfect  consistency.Pour tomato soup in bowl add fresh cream.

Step4-For bread croutons-Take bread slice and remove all corners.Cut into square piece,deep fry/shallow fry it.

Enjoy  healthy,delicious,hot Tomato soup  with bread croutons!!!!
