Crispy baked salty cubes is perfect combination with tea/coffee.
- All purpose flour – 1 cup
- butter/olive oil – 2 tsp
- Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Water – 1/2 cup
- Cumin seed – 1 tsp
- Whole black paper – 1 tsp
- Baking powder – 1/4 tsp
- Baking soda-1 pinch
Step 1 – In pan dry roast cumin seed and black paper for 50 seconds and make coarse powder keep aside.
Step 2 – In bowl add flour, salt, baking powder,oil, cumin-blackpaper coarse powder and mix well. Add cold water and knead. Make semi soft dough cover it for 30 minutes.
Step 3 – After 3o minutes kneed once again and cut dough an 3-5 pieces. Take one piece and with the help of rolling pin roll out it 6” diameter circle(not very thin). Take a knife and cut in to the square shape, cut all the disc similar way and keep aside.
Step 4 –Preheat oven to 350f/180c for 10 minutes.
Step5-Place all cubes on baking tray and for 10 minutes,after 10 minutes take out tray turn cubes and again place in oven for 10-15 minutes till golden brown both side.Take out from oven and cool it for 30 minutes,then store in airtight box.
