Quick easy, egg less, super soft, moist,healthy,flavored Semolina cake .Semolina cake is very easy to make and good for kids.
- Semolina(fine)- 2 cup
- Yogurt-1 cup
- Baking powder – 1/2 tsp
- Salt – 1 pinch
- Lemon juice-1/2 tsp(optional)
- Olive oil – 1/2 cup
- Sugar – 3/4 cup
- Milk- 1/2 cup
- Baking soda- 1/2 tsp
- Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
- Coconut flakes/Grated Coconut-1 tbsp
- Coconut powder-2 tbsp
Step 1 – Preheat oven to 350F/180C for 10 minutes.
Step 2 –In a bowl take semolina,sugar yogurt,milk,salt mix well and cover it keep aside for 10 minutes.After 10 minutes add coconut flakes/grated coconut,vanilla essence mix it,add baking soda,lemon juice,baking powder and mix it.pour mixture into greased loaf pan.
Step 3– Bake for 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Step 4 – Cool pan for 10 minutes,remove cake from pan ,dust with coconut powder and put sprinkles.
