Eggless Semolina Cake

Quick  easy, egg less, super soft, moist,healthy,flavored Semolina cake .Semolina cake is very easy to make and good for kids.


  • Semolina(fine)-  2 cup
  • Yogurt-1 cup
  •  Baking powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Lemon juice-1/2 tsp(optional)
  • Olive oil – 1/2 cup
  •  Sugar – 3/4 cup
  • Milk- 1/2 cup
  • Baking soda- 1/2 tsp
  • Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
  • Coconut flakes/Grated Coconut-1 tbsp

For Topping-

  • Coconut powder-2 tbsp
  • Sprinkle-


Step 1 – Preheat oven to 350F/180C for 10 minutes.

Step 2 –In a bowl take semolina,sugar yogurt,milk,salt mix well and cover it keep aside for 10 minutes.After 10 minutes add coconut flakes/grated coconut,vanilla essence mix it,add baking soda,lemon juice,baking powder and mix it.pour mixture into greased loaf pan.

Step 3– Bake for 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Step 4 – Cool pan for 10 minutes,remove cake from pan ,dust with coconut powder and put sprinkles.

Enjoy delicious,healthy Semolina Cake.

    1. Ingredients is similar to halva,but it is more of cake since it contains baking soda,curd….
