Hot,soft chewy,long,thin,garlicky,golden brown,buttery breadsticks are utterly addictive.
- All purpose flour – 1.5cup
- Yeast – 1 tsp (instant)
- Semolina – 1 tbsp( optional)
- Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Sugar – 1/2 tsp
- Milk powder – 1 tbsp
- Olive oil/Butter – 3 tbsp
- Dried oregano seasoning – 1 to 2 tsp
- Garlic –3-4 cloves(crushed)
- Dried basil – 1 to 2 tsp
- Butter-1 tbsp
- Garlic salt-2 tsp
Step 1– In bowl take warm water, sugar yeast and mix then keep aside for 5 minutes.
Step 2– Take flour in one bowl add salt, milk powder, semolina and yeast mixture then mix it and knead for 5 minutes then add olive oil ,garlic , oregano, basil, and kneed for 10 minutes. Cover dough and keep aside for 1 hour.
Step 3 –After 1 hour open dough it will be raised and double-triple in size. Punch it, roll the dough into strips ,place stripes on lightly grease baking tray and cover it for 45 minutes.
Step 4 – Preheat oven to 350f/180c for 10 minutes. .Once oven has preheated place baking tray and bake for 6-8 minutes.After 8 minutes take out breadsticks and brush with butter and garlic salt and again back for 6-8 minutes. Take out breadsticks from oven serve hot with brushing some more butter and garlic salt.
