Kada Prashad is very delicious, healthy pudding. It is offered to temples and gurudwaras. Punjabi family make it every auspicious day. It is made with wheat flour and ghee .
Ingredients ( serving-2)
- Wheat flour – 1 cup
- Ghee – 2 to 3 tbsp
- Sugar – 1/2 cup(powder)
- Water – 1/2 cup
- Mix dry fruit – 1/2 cup
- Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
Method
Step 1 – Heat nonstick pan, add ghee then wheat flour and roast it in medium flame for 10 to 12 minutes( roast till it turn brown and nice aroma comes with continuously stirring).
Step 2 – Add sugar, dry fruits, cardamom powder and cook it for around 1 minute till it gets mixed properly. Add water slowly and keep mixing it and cook in low flame for 5-7 minutes. While its getting cooked keep stirring continuously.
Remove from flame and optionally garnish with fresh coconut.
Serve hot and enjoy .
