Paneer Bhurji

Paneer Bhurji is very quick in making and very delicious and healthy recipe.  It is made from crumbled paneer, fresh vegetables and flavored spices. Here is my recipe for very paneer bhurji; which can be used for sandwiches/stuffed parathas/Franky/wraps.


  • Paneer – 1/2 cup
  • Tomato – 2 chopped
  • Coriander leaves -1 tsp finely chopped
  • Cumin seed – 1tbs
  • Green chili – 1 finely chopped
  • Black paper powder – 1/2tbs
  • Salt- 1/2 tsp (as per taste)
  • Cooking oil – 1 tbsp
  • Onion – 1 finely chopped
  • Tomato – 2
  • Garlic – 1 to 2
  • Ginger – 1 tsp paste
  • Red capsicum – 1/2 cup Julianne
  • Kasuri methi – 1 tsp
  • Carrot – 1tbs finely chopped
  • Cumin seed – 1 tsp
  • Red chili flakes-1 tbs
  • Garam masala-1 tbs


Step 1 – Take  1/2 cup water in a saucepan and add chopped tomato, garlic then boil it for 5-10 minutes till mixture becomes soften. Switch off flame. Heat chopped tomato and chopped garlic on microwave for 2-3 minutes.

Step 2 -Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add cumin seed when seed crackle, add chopped onion and cook it for 1-2 minutes. Add chopped carrot saute to it  and then add ginger paste and mix it. Cook it for 30 seconds then add tomato-garlic and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Add black paper, red chili flakes, garam masala and mix it proper then add red capsicum  and mix it  again and cook for 30 seconds. Add crumble paneer and let it cook for 1 minute then switch off flame add roasted crushed kasuri methi and coriander leaves mix it proper.

Serve hot with roti /naan/and it can use any bread, roti, dosa, parathas.

Note :-  You can add green pea, red/yellow/green peppers  for more flavors.
